Two changes each in Munster and Leinster's Interpro final

Holders Munster have been handed a boost ahead of tomorrow's Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship final, with Eilís Cahill and Maeve Óg O’Leary both passed fit to start. Captain O’Leary hasn’t featured since the opening round win against Leinster, but has been cleared to start and packs down at number 8. Cahill has also overcome a minor injury to take her place at tighthead prop, but her fellow Ireland international Jane Clohessy misses out. O’Leary and Cahill’s returns are the only changes from the side that started last week’s win against Connacht, which was Munster seventh in a row across the last two Interpro championships. Beth Buttimer, who scored four tries when Munster defeated Leinster 39-19 in the opening round of the championship, starts at hooker, with Siobhan McCarthy and Cahill propping beside her. With Clohessy out, Clodagh O’Halloran moves from flanker into the second row to join Aoibhe O’Flynn. O’Leary’s return at number 8 sees Grace Moore move across to openside flanker, while Sally Kelly is on the blindside. It’s the same backline that started last week’s impressive 47-12 win away to Connacht, with Caitríona Finn retaining her place at out-half, partnering Emily Lane in the half-backs. Enya Breen, who started the opening two games in the 10 shirt, is selected in the centre where she joins Ireland call-up Lucia Linn. Aoife Corey continues at full-back, with Chisom Ugwueru and Alana McInerney (below) on the wings. Meanwhile Leinster have made two changes to their team for Saturday’s decider, with Dannah O’Brien and Kate Jordan both brought back into the side by head coach Sana Govender. Ireland international O’Brien comes back in at out-half after being rested in last week’s 75-5 trouncing of Ulster, as Ellie O'Sullivan Sexton makes way. The other change comes at second row, with Kate Jordan – who was one of seven uncapped players named in the Ireland quad this week – swapping back in for Alma Atagamen. Jordan is one of 11 members of this week’s Ireland squad named in the starting team, seven of whom form a star-studded backline. Katie Whelan starts at scrum-half, linking up with O’Brien in the half-backs, while Eve Higgins and Aoife Dalton continue as expected in the centre. Robyn O’Connor and Vicky Elmes Kinlan are named on the wings again, while Stacey Flood patrols the backfield at full-back. Sarah Delaney captains the side at hooker, with Linda Djougang and Caoimhe Molloy packing down either side of her at prop. Ruth Campbell partners Jordan in the second row, with Erin King at number 8, and Regan Casey and Kathy Baker on the flanks. The starting XV for the final shows four changes from the side that was beaten 39-19 by Munster in the opening round of this year’s championship, with Whelan, Flood, Casey and Baker the quartet who didn’t start in Cork earlier this month. Govender has also gone for a 6:2 split on his bench in order to combat Munster’s pack, with Alex Connor and Emma Tilly the backline replacements.
