Scotney to face WBC featherweight champion Brown - Published Briton Ellie Scotney will face WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown in Arlington, Texas on 8 November. Scotney, 28, vacated her undisputed super-bantamweight champion status in April and is stepping up a division in pursuit of becoming a two-weight world champion. The bout against 38-year-old American Brown serves as the co-main event and is one of four world title fights on the MVPW-07 card. Scotney boasts a perfect record of 12 victories, with each of those wins coming via decision. The Londoner became Britain's youngest undisputed champion in the four-belt era when she beat Mayelli Flores by unanimous decision at the Olympia in April. WBA, WBO and IBF super-featherweight champion Baumgardner will also be seeking to become a two-division champion when she steps up to lightweight. The American has won 18 of her 20 bouts as a professional, losing one with one no-contest. Undefeated opponent Turhan is making the third defence of her IBF lightweight belt, with their fight scheduled for 10 three-minute rounds. Also on the bill, Somali-British boxer Ramla Ali faces American Mikiah Kreps for the vacant WBO and IBF super-bantamweight titles. Ali, who made history when featuring in the first professional women's bout to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2022, has a record of 11 wins and two defeats. The final world title fight on the programme features Australia's Skye Nicolson as she defends her WBC super-bantamweight belt against Japan's Miyo Yoshida.
